The workshop day on the 24th will have a number of craftspeople demonstrating their craft, and you’ll be able to have a go for a contribution of only £2!

The Poetry Promenade was fantastic last year, and will be so again with poets returning from last year, and new poets (including the Fenland Poet Laureate) coming along.

New films, and a new walk; the Big Story Day was a great event for children, if your school isn’t coming, or you don’t send your children to school, do get in touch and we’ll see if there’s space for you.

Please keep checking back!

On calling up one of the contributing makers to the Crafts Conundrum Trail, she said how much she’d enjoyed doing the letter, rediscovering an old interest in sewing.
Her daughter has requested a new quilt, and she found some unfinished projects and is now going to set aside time to do some more sewing and produce some more wonderful work for her family.

A fantastic outcome for the Festival; helping people back into a relaxing hobby like quilting is a real achievement. One person, maybe, but her whole family will benefit and of course she can pass on these skills to them and to her friends.

A proud moment for the event organisers!
